The week we recorded this was one of the harder weeks of my life.
I honestly don't like to admit that, but I think it's important to understand the heart behind this. I know we are all grieving and celebrating our life's highs and lows in our own time, and that's ok. But I wanted to share this as a little piece of hope.
In my most accomplished moments & the times when I feel like nothing at all, "His faithful hand has held me all this way." And THAT keeps me hopeful in this here 2020.

Learning to live and work with my husband was quite a journey, but one I was am so thankful we took on together.
2018 was a learning year!!
Life wouldn’t be complete with out getting to jump in on a few shows in town.
Loved getting to be a part of the General Jackson Showboat for a few nights!
This man has helped me truly become a world citizen.
Exploring with him is one of my favorite things.

This year we took our summer showcase to the Carver Theater, downtown Birmingham. All of the students performed their best songs and our coaches even sang a bit.
There's not a lot that I've experienced in this life, that compares to seeing your student succeed a goal. To see them realize that hard work does pay off, and that being intimidated by a goal is not a bad thing, simply a challenge that they CAN accomplish.
And I did love getting a chance to perform with my students. As well as, 'Never Let You Go', and a few songs with the oh so talented, JJ Williamson.

If I'm honest, I learn something new every time I get on the stage with BLV. Which is one of the reasons I love getting the chance to perform with these professionals. The best lesson yet has been developing the art of how to truly party with a crowd. So a big shout out to every person who's hit the dance floor with us.
